Alternative use of the Bumbo chair...who would've thought?
So my "early riser" daughter didn't let me down this morning. She awoke at 6:45am. Apparently she didn't get the memo that we in the Maya household like to sleep in (especially on the weekends). Oh well, so I made my coffee and egg whites for breakfast and sat down on the floor to play with Marisol. I started typing on my computer and realized quickly that my wrists were not going to take much of those non-ergonomic conditions, so I grabbed her Bumbo baby chair and plopped my laptop on it. My little discover worked perfectly, and here I sit comfortably typing away;-)

Where did Summer go?
Hello Sunshine...Thanks for coming out at 2pm today, WTH? Saturdays are supposed to be spent with my family beginning with a trip to Peets Coffee, a little stroll around the San Ramon Farmer's Market, Some "Maya-Style" gardening in the back yard, and a few unnecessary trips to Home Depot. Why am I wearing my Ugg boots in August?!?
Maya Crazy Life
Maya crazy life...get it? My crazy life? Bueller, Bueller? Anyone? Ha, ha anyway. My friend Shannon, from Living Semi Crunchy, turned me onto the idea of blogging. I LOVE to write and as a typical type-A personality...I have to admit I kind of like talking about myself, my family, and friends. I am a proud SAHM of 2 beautiful children; wife to an amazingly funny and intelligent man; daughter of 2 sets of parents including a sweet, sensitive, and shy mother and her wise-cracking, smartass, generous and caring husband; and a loving man who wears his heart on his sleeve-I call him "Fasha" (Others call him Captain), and his newest bride who is the Real Estate "Queen of Lake Hartwell" and truely amazing at what she does; sister to a young man-who is quite the tumbleweed...but one day will figure it out;-) BFF to some of the most AMAZING women I know; and the list goes on and on. I am SO appreciative for the amazing people I have in my life, and I like to talk about it!
